Marillion is coming back to Montreal on April 24-25 & 26 for a Marillion week end. Three amazing shows that will take place at the Olympia in Montreal, and three different shows as well.

We had the chance to chat we Marillion’s singer Steve Hogarth about that, plus what keeps them going after all these years, 7 1/2 hours of lyrics to remember and a bit of ex Marillion singer Fish.

So here is the non-cut interview we did with him.

Following sold out conventions in 2009, 2011 and 2013, UK rock band Marillion return for another three nights of shows at the Olympia Montreal on 24-26 April 2015. These very special shows garner fans from all over the world as the band present three stunning nights of music, with this one promising to be the most spectacular yet. On Friday night the band will play the whole of Anoraknophobia, which set the trend by being the very first album to be totally crowd-funded back in 2001! Saturday night will herald the whole of the highly acclaimed 2004 album Marbles. The Sunday night set always remains a surprise but will be a selection of songs from the band’s 32 year history to delight all fans. As if that wasn’t enough there will be the highly popular Swap The Band feature where several talented fans get the chance to play on stage with the band. A charity raffle and other c
ompetitions give the fans a chance to interact with band in this very intimate theatre.

Montreal holds a special place in the band’s heart and the 2012 album Sounds That Can’t Be Made includes a song all about the city.

Marillion will be supported by Casey McPherson (currently frontman for Flying Colors and Alpha Red), Lo-fi Resistance and The David Barret Trio.
